Feasibility survey of reproductive health and national population / Republic of Yemen - Specific contract n°2007/142734

The survey prepares the process to justify acceptance, modification or rejection of the proposed programme for further financing and implementation.
The survey is established in two phases:

Pre-feasibility study: it provides the Yemeni authorities and the European Commission with the necessary information to make a joint rational decision on the strategic choices concerning the design of the National Population Programme and to identify in which means the objectives of the Programme will be achieved.

Appraisal / Feasibility study: it results in the specific design and planning document for the implementation of the actual Programme

A particular attention is paid to take stock of experience made to ascertain broad stakeholder participation in the identification process and describe success and failure in the past in the field of reproductive health and population.
A special focus is also given on path of optimizing international assistance to explore prospects of increased donor co-ordination under the leadership of the Government of Yemen.
